The Tormented Square Tournament is a team–based Devil Square tournament hosted in the Battle Core server.

• The party’s leader must register via NPC Mait
• Only parties consisting of two characters may enter
• Hosted on the Battle Core server only

Event Schedule
Tormented Square is hosted once a month, over the course of a week. There are three qualification rounds per tournament.

*if only one team joins the final round, automatically win

Qualifications

• Semi-finals: 1st and 2nd placed teams from each preliminary round (up to 40 teams)
• Finals: 1st placed teams from semi-final battles (up to 10 teams)

*ranks are determined by the amount of points you accumulate during the rounds.
**if your team advances to the next round, you cannot participate until the next qualification round is hosted

Rules & Scoring

• Maximum 10 teams per round
• Teams must consist of only 2 players
• PK mode disabled
• Allowed to buff other players
• Disqualified from event upon death

Scoring Points
There are 15 unique monsters each round that will give a specific amount of hunting points per kill:

• Round one: Gollock: 300 Hunting Points
• Round two: Balram: 600 Hunting Points
• Round three: Bloody Orc: 900
• Round four: Kondra: 1,200
• Round five: Werewolf (Hero): 3,000
• Round six: Bloody Deathrider: 1,500
• Round seven: Blood Witch Queen: 1,800
• Round eight: Scout (Hero): 2,100
• Round nine: Necron: 2,400
• Round ten: Sapi Queen: 10,000
• Round elven: Centaur Warrior: 2,700
• Round twelve: Death Centurion: 3,000
• Round thirteen: Schricker: 3,300
• Round fourteen: Genocider Warrior: 5,000
• Round fifteen: Dark Elf: 200,000

There are 3 unique golden monsters that will give a specific amount of hunting points per kill:

• Round 1 ~ 5: Golden Tantalos: 10,000
• Round 6 ~ 10: Golden Erohim: 30,000
• Round 11 ~ 15: Golden Hellminer: 90,000

Gameplay

• There will be 15 waves of monsters
• Each wave of monsters lasts 2 minutes
• There are short 30 second breaks between waves
• When a wave ends, all monsters will disappear
• Each wave of monsters consists of:
  • 200 Normal monsters
  • 10 Golden monsters
• Every 5th, 10th, and 15th wave is a boss monster wave:
  • 20 Boss monsters
  • 10 Golden monsters
• When a monster is killed, another monster will spawn
• Golden Monsters are the most effective way to accumluate points
• The team with the most accumulated points will win the round!

• Repair 50 durability by using a Jewel of Bless on the ring (100% success rate)
• Set effect:
  • +50% EXP when equipped with a Pet Panda or Skeleton
• Stats:
  • Required: Level 400
  • Attack/Wizardry/Curse +70
  • Attack Speed +10
  • Defense +50
  • Max HP +50
