There are lots of different items that can be used for combat. All characters can wear a full 'armor set' with parts like Helm, Armor, Pants, Gloves, and Boots. Most characters use a weapon and shield, but some can use two weapon items. Everyone starts with the 'Pentagram For Beginners' at level 1, and more Pentagrams become an option at level 100. Wings can be equipped at level 150 (or a Cape at level 180), and Earrings become available at level 300 for the adventurous journey ahead. You'll be able to start using mastery equipment once you reach level 400, and enhanced equipment becomes available after reaching level 800!

Most combat items have durability which will decrease over time from combat. An item 'breaks' if it reaches zero durability. When an item 'breaks,' the item will only provide 20% of its damage/defense. You can repair most items after it becomes zero durability, however some items will disappear forever if they reach zero durability!
- You can repair items with the 'Repair Hammer' from a character's inventory. (hot-key: L)
- Various NPC merchants can also repair items, which is actually 50% cheaper than using the 'Repair Hammer.'
- Durability tends to decrease much faster when your character is taking large amounts of damage, or upon death.
Most combat items can have their 'item level' increased up to '+15.' It increases an item's damage/defense as 'item level' is increased, but it also increases it's requirements. You can 'drag and drop' Jewel of Bless and Jewel of Soul onto items to increase 'item level,' or use NPC Chaos Goblin Machine.
- A Jewel of Bless can increase 'item level' up to +6, with 100% chance.
- A Jewel of Soul can increase 'item level' up to +9, with 40% ~ 60% chance.
- If Jewel of Soul fails:
- Item +0: 'item level' remains +0.
- Item +1 ~ +6: 'item level' decreases by 1.
- Item +7 (or greater): 'item level' becomes +0.
- To upgrade 'item level' past '+9,' you must use NPC Chaos Goblin Machine.
+Luck is bound to items only on a chance basis. +Luck only appears when items are dropped by monsters or crafted.
- The '+Luck' attribute actually consists of two additional options:
- Critical Damage Chance +5%
- +25% Jewel of Soul rate
- 'Critical Damage Chance' increases your chance to deal 'Critical DMG' by a percentage (%).
- 'Jewel of Soul rate' increases the item's success rates when using it for any combination that uses Jewel of Soul (such as item level upgrade).
A Jewel of Life can be used on items to grant an additional option. To use Jewel of Life, drag and drop it onto an item!
- Can only be applied to weapons, off-hand items, armor items, and wings/capes.
- There is a 50% chance to grant or upgrade additional option. (~6.25% to get max option lv)
- Once additional option is granted, you can use another Jewel of Life to upgrade the option value.
- The option value can be upgraded three times, up to 'option lv 4.'
- If upgrading the option fails, then the additional option is removed from the item.
- When additional option is added, it increases the item's strength requirement by +5 STR per option level.
- For example, if an item requires 100 STR to equip, it will require 120 STR if it has 'lv 4' additional option.
- If you achieve 'option lv 4,' then the additional option technically cannot be removed from the item.
- The Jewel of Life option adds a lot of 'NPC value' to your item, which will increase item repair cost drastically.

A Jewel of Harmony can be used on items to grant multiple additional options. You can use Jewel of Harmony via NPC Osbourne & Jerridon!
- Can only be applied to weapons, off-hand items, and armor items.
- Items must be at least '+9' to grant '+Jewel of Harmony Option.'
