Apostle Devin is in Crywolf searching for a mighty warrior to take on a very difficult quest. The plan is to ultimately infiltrate Balgass' Barracks and kill the evil warlord that lurks within! This warlord, known as the Dark Elf, is believed to be training soldiers there to make attacks on the continent. She is very powerful, and therefore, Devin will only give this quest to characters at least level 380. However, you will need to be level 400 to complete the last part of the quest.
This quest requires the completion of the Hero Status quest. However, there are no prerequisites for the the Magic Gladiator, Dark Lord, Grow Lancer, or Rage Fighter characters.
- You will need Zen x5,000,000 to start the quest.
- You can start the quest from level 380.
- Speak to Apostle Devin to start the quest, located in Crywolf @(228,48).
- You cannot skip the quest.
*your character cannot gain levels past level 400 until the quest is completed.

*the Dark Elf can cause STUN every 5 seconds, which immobilizes your character for 3 seconds.
*Tip: you'll need to give the Werewolf Guardsman the 3,000,000 Zen fee every time you enter Balgass' Barracks.
*Tip: the Dark Elf has a 3 hour respawn time. If you don't see her, you'll have to wait around until she spawns.

- A quest item will only drop when a character, or a character within a party, has the quest active.
- Quest items can drop when a party member kills a monster, even if that member doesn't have the quest active.
- Quest items can only be picked up by a character that has the quest task active.
- You may form a party inside Balgass' Barracks and Balgass' Resting Place, and you can get monster kill counts from other party members.
- If not in a party, the opposing character (or party) that deals the most damage earns the credit for monster kills and any item drops.
